Default Using a scrapbook to make a photo portfolio

Hi, everyone,

I've been a lurker here for a few days, and I think maybe you can help
me out.

I'm really interested in photography, although I really just started.
I don't develop my own pics yet, just take them.

Right now my field of study is close-up. I'm looking for some 7x7
layouts to use in a black album w/ black paper or white paper to
highlight pictures, mostly of flowers for now. The pics are in color,
and obviously they're not all the SAME color, so mostly I want metric
ideas, because color schemes will have to be improvised on a
case-by-case. Any suggestions or original layouts you want to share?
I'd really appreciate the help.

Thanks!

Stephen

PS - PLEASE! Do not post anything that was supposed to be for your
eyes only in response to this post. My wife's a CM consultant and she
gets layouts all the time that the creators don't want on sites like
this. (btw, they're all good, but often too sentimental in nature for
a portfolio type book.) Please don't break any type of trust just for
this request. Thanks!

I don't have any layouts of flowers to share but a mosaic layout comes to
mind.
You can use you wives square punch to make it.

I know of lots of teachers and several photographers that use a "scrap"
style for a portfolio...
Personally.. I LOVE IT rather then the old style!
Shows you love what your doing.. not just showing what you do
