What is the difference between acid-free paper and PVC-free paper?
I have photo albums that say that paper is this the same free.is PVC that the free acid? Is it safe to use PVC-free for scrapbooking?
The photo albums that are free of PVC, it means that the plastic covering the photo has not PVC in it and has nothing to do with the paper underneath. The problem with PVC plastic that is in it, is that decomposes over a period of time and becomes a green slime. It can ruin a photo, and other things, like coins. Premium photo albums, not the kind of Wal-Mart usually has acid-free paper that the photo sitting. Get the proper role of scrap booking is not as expensive.
