In the summer you're exhausted and tired of their children at the end of each day? Are you counting the days until school starts? Summer can be a time to help to awaken your creativity and your child's creativity as well.
Organize a family reunion where children can choose an activity that is interested in older children can help younger children who can help siblings bond for each other and teach them respect for others.
Some suggestions what to do for kids do not get bored and do not pull the hair:
1. Plan a picnic. If you do not have a nearby park or do not have time to travel to a park has in your backyard. Encourage children to plan the menu and help buy the necessary supplies. This is a good time to talk about nutrition, help them shop with a budget and teach them how to pack.
2. At the beginning of the summer plan for each child make a scrapbook of everything that makes this summer. Or get a journal to record their activities. This is a good time to help them learn to Declutter as they learn to keep only the most important things, that keeping everything is not necessary or important. You can take pictures for your scrapbook or drawings of each activity. Passing a family night once a week you can share your notebook with family members.
3. Ask someone to decorate a jar and the label "Brag jar. When someone does something good for another family member can write what the person did and put in the jar to show off. This will encourage your children to do things for others. Ask a jar with suggestions of things they can do for others. It sounds much better than the "job jar of things." Put the fun you can do for others in the bottle and jobs.
4. Make a list of things children can do to make money and putting the amount of money they can get for each job. Children always need money for this and that and teaches them responsibility and accountability for the money.
5. Plan the most absurd "Staycation" (Holiday at home) that your imagination can think of. Lonelyplanet.com / Destinations / has wonderful information on other countries where you can get ideas about your favorite place you want travel.
6. What about putting on a play? Have the children write the play, make costumes, build the set and send the invitations.
7. A plan for two hours once a week to organize the mess. Help them go through their toys and size. Check out the clothes in the drawers and closets and get rid what is not used or that have emerged. Donate to charity or give to other children in your household can use.
8. Establish a program to encourage reading reading. With the child set a goal of many books they will read and give a prize when they reach their goal. You could give oral book review of his favorite book family after they have read 10 books or so many pages depending on the age of the child.
9. Learn how something works and then explain to the family.
10. Assign a different child once a week to cook, or a lunch to fix. Encourage them to try new recipes from a simple cookbook. There are wonderful books easy cooking for beginning cooks. Twice during the summer have to make a dish that they have created. Even if it's something as simple as putting a nut salad in the family likes, but does not call for nuts.
11. Inflate balloons, put notes inside and deliver them to neighbors and friends. Blow up 100 balloons with water and have a water balloon fight.
Allowing children to make plans for the summer to early summer comes to think creatively, learn new things and helps "I'm bored" obsolete.
