I'm making a scrapbook for my father's 50th birthday and was wondering if anyone has any idea of the different pages. I am including photos, hobbies, and memories of family members. Any suggestions would be appreciated grealty. Thank you!

You could make a "This Is Your Life. "Kind of book. Create a design for each child, one for women and falling in love, one for all the different places where he lived, one for photos baby, a favorite pet, one for his career, attending church, and even one of the cars we had – anything that mattered. When you choose your photos, sit with him or a sibling or parent and write the memories that each image comes to mind. I use as a diary. When finished, it will be really clean as a family heirloom. It can even be fun to revisit the places that was when I was young and have "now" images to be placed next to the 'then' Images years ago. You can also put a picture of a family / person who is close on one page and send the page to that person who can write the best wishes and fondest memories in it. Simply provide a designated place to write on the page, so not intimidated. One thing you can do to make it go faster, is the use of a theme. By that I mean to choose a work of substance and several solid points for the title picture and matting. However, many pages of your scrapbook is, that's how many sheets of background paper you need (probably 50 would be good). That takes the guess work out of their scheme color. You just use the same material on each page, lends the book cohesion. I suggest using a palette of neutral colors, so that will happen to all different colors in the images easily.

There are some very good reasons for scrapping your photos! Some of them might seem logical and others who can not even think.

Reason number one for the scrapping of your pictures is …..* drumroll * to preserve them! Yes, using materials such as acid-free page protectors and the right glue can preserve your precious memories for generations to come.

Second, if your heritage is important to you, you naturally want preserve your photos for this reason.

Their children and grandchildren will appreciate being able to look back at where they and their ancestors came from! This is the third reason you should scrap.

It's a hobby! Scrapbooking has become one of the arts and crafts most popular pastimes in America. You can combine elements so different in their designs. You can use paint, metal, plastic, buttons, beads, ribbons, fabrics, yarns and sooooo much more!

The fifth reason to dismiss is …. is fun! You can join their friends and make a feast of junk or a culture. Lots of pizza, chat and, of course, scrapping!

The scrapping of use as an outlet for healing. Sometimes memories can allow scrapping difficult to cope with the situation a little easier. I deleted a painful miscarriage, looking at the pictures, screamed, revived memories, but when I finished I felt much better. Sometimes people need this kind of healing. It's a bit like chicken soup for the soul.

Seventh You …. can be as creative as you want to be. Being creative can give you a sense of pride and healthy self-esteem, especially when other people comment on how beautiful your work is!

You can finally get organized get rid of all those shoeboxes in their closets or under the bed! Getting organized helps me stay focused and on task, especially with my two Youngin is running around!

How about a reason novena? Review your photography skills! Learn new ways of making great and memorable photographs that capture the moment and tell the story.

The last reason for scrapping ….. make great personal gifts! There must be a great album of 30 pages. A mini-album will do the trick and the person who will appreciate how much thought and creativity you have put into their wonderful gift!

So, now has at least ten reasons to scrapbook, so those photos below! More importantly, have fun with it!

There's nothing like the fresh smell of spring when the flowers begin to bloom, and trees grow their natural colors. Through the years, more and more styles and themes have emerged when scrapbooking. Since the ship does not require formality, anything goes as long as the person enjoying the results of the product.

One of the most common themes when it comes to a splendid collection of scrapbooking magazines. This issue mimics the design usually seen in different types of the magazine on the market. Scrapbooking magazine includes the use of photos along with texts and embellishments scattered in the pages of the scrapbook. Apart from the photos, text, and chosen embellishments, scrapbook magazine also includes the use of the pages with drawings matching theme and colors.

SCRAPBOOKING 101

Before you start making your scrapbook magazine, which first examine what are the materials you need. Here's a basic list have, to be a scrapbooker.

1. Album. The first thing to consider is the place where you will place all your photos and embellishments, the album. You have to decide what size you want to work hard in order to determine the amount of materials that need to use in making the scrapbook. The usual size of scrapbook albums most scrapbookers use is 12 x 12, but up to you how big or small you want your scrapbook to be. Apart from the magnitude of this album, you must also consider the color you want to use the model that works for the theme of your chosen album.

2. The pages of filler. Since not yet know how many pages you need for your album, it really pays if you have graced the pages of an album chosen. In the market, filling the pages are usually sold in different sizes, so it's best if you pick up a couple packs in buying parts of albums to make sure you get the same quality of the album that has already purchased.

3. A pair of sharp scissors. Scrapbooking requires a lot of cutting so it is best to buy a nice high quality and sharp scissors. It is advisable when using a pair of scissors with very fine tip and is easy to hold and use. Fine scissors can be a bit more expensive compared to normal peers out there, but this will ensure that you can use a pair of scissors devoted exclusively to your scrapbook.

4. Adhesives. In the market today, there are so many types and styles of stickers that come in different sizes and styles. For starters, it's best if you use an acid free adhesive is perfect for cardstock and photos. You may want to consider brands like Stick N Click 3L'' Mounting Squares, Herma Dotto Removable, and Herma Vario Wheel Dispenser.

5. A variety of cards, printed and specialty papers. As in the choice of a scrapbook, you must select the documents that will work well with the colors and theme you have chosen. Also be paid if you choose colored papers, cardstock and accents to highlight your pictures. (Hint: Try to buy the papers and scrapbook cardstocks in several local shops, as they sell individual sheets for each page.)

6. Several journal pens. It is best to use acid free, permanent pens, fine point with the handwriting, especially if you are doing album magazine clippings, as it needs for its day. You can buy pens that are different sizes.

How do I add color to my pictures recpetion wedding?

we're having a wedding reception luxury, but we're doing the wedding in the same rom, but in the stairwell that runs through the center of the room. The host sits at the table during the wedding in the tables of the centerpieces are already set and table settings. our colors are dark brown, rust orange and gold. we have white tablecloths. We have chair covers that are both with brown stripes. I dont really want to spend money on chargers. Is there an inexpensive way to make boots? or can I add color by placing a small piece of 4×4 album paper cuts in every seat of the people who said that "the wishes and wisdom for the bride and groom" it would be cool? help!

I was thinking what my paintings and chair covers are all white. The only color the flowers in the center. I was thinking of doing a mini corridor in the center of the table just To make the table "pop" a little. You can go to a fabric store and have cut the squares of any color and texture of the fabric you want! I would not do paper in each setting. Perhaps smaller peices of fabric for each configuration.

When scrapbooking and paper purchasing special fund, do you still use paper album?

I just go into scrapbooking because of the new incorporation in my family. I wonder, when you go out and buy the pretty background paper, do you glue the white paper scrapbook always or omit the white paper and just use the pretty paper?

I decided not to glue anything to the Board of white notebook. I thought if I change my mind in order of pages, it is impossible with something stuck to both sides. So just get a background paper and attach everything to that then slide in (in front of the blank page). If you mean, use the White Paper as part of the background, and only decorate white paper … no, do not do that. I love the decor and cover every square inch. Either way, your choice.
